To assist in the fulfillment of EFA's mission, PAWS provides education and services to people living with HIV/AIDS so they can keep pet companions as long as possible. PAWS strongly believes in the human/animal bond of companionship and works hard to ensure that clients do not experience the loss of pets due to financial hardship, lack of transportation, or hospitalization. Pets provide a source of unconditional love and support that is irreplaceable to people living with HIV/AIDS.
The PAWS program is funded entirely by individual gifts, Thirst for Life donations and additional private donations. With limited funding, PAWS is only able to serve 54 of the 91 pets in need of support. Your participation is so vital to our communitity!
