Funding Sources and Expenditures
In 2009, EFA earned $1,850,899 in revenue and spent $1,833,704. Of the total revenue, 4% was from contributions, 3% corporate and foundation funding, 14% from United Way, 15% from special events and 64% from government grants.
76% of our expenditures in 2009 were for programs and services, 14% for management and general expenses, and 10% for fundraising.
